Great Pizza Recipes - Classic Mexican Pizza With Tortilla and Beans

Mexican pizzas are corn tortillas, beans, beef and all the delicious taco toppings you can imagine is crowned. They can be served as an appetizer or main dish.

Here is a great Mexican Pizza Recipe:

1 / 2 pound ground meat
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 / 4 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 / 4 teaspoon paprika
1 1 / 2 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons water
8 small flour tortillas
1 cup Crisco shortening or cooking oil
1 (16 ounce) can refriedBeans
1 / 3 cup diced tomato
2 / 3 cup mild salsa
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 / 4 cup chopped green onions
1 / 4 cup chopped black olives

Begin with the brown meat over medium heat for cooking, then drain off the excess fat from the pan. With salt, onion, pepper, chili powder and water and let simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir often to prevent burning.

The oil or Crisco shortening in a skillet pan over medium - high heat. WhenOil begins to smoke, it is too hot. When the oil is hot, fry each tortilla for about 30 45 seconds per side and set aside on paper towels.

TIP: You can also bake the tortillas in the oven at 375 for 12 minutes instead of frying.

If the pan tortillas, make sure that no air bubbles form, so the tortillas are in the oil-flat pop, and they are golden brown. Heat the baked beans in a small saucepan on the stove or in microwave.

Preheat the oven to 400F.

2 cup graham flour
2 cup wheat germ
1 / 2 cup cornmeal

Mix the ingredients to create a strong spoon, drop heaping tablespoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake in a 350Oven for 15 minutes. Turn off oven and cookies on baking sheet in the oven to dry overnight.

Ace's Favorite Cheesy Dog Biscuits

1 1 / 2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1 / 4 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 / 4 pound margarine - corn oil
1 clove garlic - crushed
1 pinch salt
1 / 4 cup milk - or as needed

Grate cheese, which can rest in a bowl until it reaches room temperature. Cream the cheese with the softened margarine, garlic, salt and flour.Add enough milk to form into a ball.

Chill for 1 / 2 hours. Roll on floured board. Cut into shapes and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned and firm.

Power of 2 to 3 dozen, depending on size.

Mexican Crockpot Recipes

I love Mexican food and love my crockpot, so that the combination of the two makes sense. Here is a list of some Mexican Crockpot recipes.

Crockpot enchiladas

A fabulous dish my whole family loved!

Ingredients:

2 cans of chopped chicken breast
1 cup salsa
1 can enchilada sauce
24 oz can diced green chiles
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can chicken soup
14 oz can sliced black olives, sliced
2 green onions cut into thin slices
10 Maizeand flour tortillas

Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Mix chicken, salsa, enchilada sauce, green chili, and soup in a bowl. Cut corn and wheat tortillas into 1-inch long pieces, mix together pieces. A layer of sauce mixture on the bottom of the crockpot. Place a layer of tortillas, then a layer of cheese. Repeat, was used until the sauce mixture. Top with cheese, olives and green onions. Cover and cook on low 6 hours. If desired, serve with sour cream, salsa, guacamole andTortilla chips.

Chicken Tortilla Soup
Simply one of my favorite recipes - a great "throw it out and let it cook" soup. See the following instructions and extra spicy touch.

Ingredients:

1 ½ pounds shredded cooked chicken
14.5 ounces drained 1 can diced tomatoes
Until 1 can enchilada sauce 10 ounces
2 medium onions
14 oz can chopped green chiles
2 cloves garlic, chives
2 cups water
1 to 14 ½ oz can chicken broth
1 tsp cumin
1 teaspoon chiliPowder
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 large bay leaf
1 tablespoon coriander
1 ½ teaspoon Southwest seasoning mix
1 until 10 ounces pkg frozen corn

Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. If desired, serve with sour cream and fried tortilla strips. For fried tortilla strips preheat, oven to 400 *. Brush both sides of tortillas lightly with vegetable oil, cut into strips. Spread ungreased baking sheet andBake 10-15 minutes.

Notes: For an additional option, I do this in two steps. First, I can be 1-1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts in a crockpot with 1 ½ cups water (or 1 chicken bouillon), and Mexican spices. (A package of taco or fajita seasoning or Southwest seasoning mix works well.) Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours. Remove chicken and shred you for the soup. Often I will do as much as 2-3 pounds of chicken soup with chicken or tacosFajitas.

Crockpot Taco Appetizer
Although I serve with chips, this could be a main meal with hard or soft shell tacos instead!

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground meat
½ cup water
1 envelope taco seasoning
18 ounces can tomato sauce
14.5 ounces undrained 1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
3 chopped green onions
1 cup chopped black olives
1 bag tortilla chips

Spray crock pot withcooking spray. In a skillet, brown meat over medium flame. Drain and into the crockpot. Add water, taco seasoning, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Cover and cook on low 6 hours. Serve with toppings such as cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, black olives and other desired coating.

Notes: As mentioned above, this could easily become a main meal, served with hard or soft shell tacos instead of tortilla chips.

Hamburger Casserole Recipes - Mexican Hamburger Casserole

The south of the border flavors gives this pan a real boost.

1 pound ground meat

1 onion, chopped

1 stalk celery, chopped

8 ounces egg noodles

1 (15 ounce) can chili

1 (14.5 oz can) peeled and diced tomatoes

1 (15 ounce) can drained whole kernel corn,

1 / 4 cup salsa

1 (1 ounce) pkg. Taco seasoning mix

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

In a large skillet saute ground beef,Onion and celery over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until the meat is quite brown. Drain the fat from the pan to take and set aside.

In another pot, cook the noodles according to package directions, directions. Drain the water from the noodles and stir in the meat mixture, chili, tomatoes, corn, taco sauce and taco seasoning mix, mix well.

The mixture into a 10x15-inch baking pan.

Bake for 20 minutes or until fully heated.

A delicious mixture of beef, potatoes and two kinds of cheese.

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 yellow onion, sliced thinly

1 pound ground beef

1/4 cup butter

1/4 cup all purpose flour

3 cups milk

1 pint heavy cream

Salt and pepper to taste

5 potatoes, sliced

2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

1 cup milk

Directions

Preheat Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large heavy pan, fry the onions in oil over medium heat until the onions are soft, set aside. In the same pan, cook until the mince are brown; burden on paper towels and set aside.

In a pan melt the butter. Add in the flour, whisk and stir for 5 minutes. Gradually whisk in 3 cups of milk, then the cream. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat.

Spread a small amount of sauce mixture into the bottom of a9x13-inch baking dish. Alternate layers of potatoes, onions, ground beef, cheese and sauce, with 2 to 3 layers of each. Cheese should be last layer.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

Broccoli and hamburger go great together, especially when you add Monterey Jack cheese.

2 (16 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli

2 pounds ground beef

1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh Mushrooms

1 large onion, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of celery soup

1 (16 ounce) container sour cream

1 (16 ounce) pkg. shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a pan, cook the ground beef, mushrooms and onion over medium heat until the meat is golden brown, drain. Add salt and pepper, cream of celery soup and sour cream. Cook until well heated. Transferto a medium casserole dish.

Layer meat mixture in bottom of baking pan. Place broccoli on top. Sprinkle evenly with cheese.

Bake 1 hours, or until the pan is sizzling and lightly browned.

Crock Pot Turkey Stew

1 large bag of frozen mixed vegetables

2 kg without cutting bone, skinless Turkey, in bite-size pieces

2 tablespoons flour

1 cup chicken broth

1-1/2 tbl tomato paste

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 / 4 cup chopped freshparsley

Salt and pepper to taste

Place veggies and turkey into crock pot. Mix flour, broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper in a bowl and then add to crock pot. Cover and cook on LOW setting for approximately 8 hours. During the last hour, stir once or twice, breaking apart any turkey that has stuck together. Be careful not to remove the lid for more than a minute or so. Stir in parsley just before serving.

Crock Pot Turkey Sandwiches

6 c. shredded Turkey

3 c. grated cheese

1 / 2 c. Miracle Whip

1 onion, chopped

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can chicken soup

Mix everything together and cook in crock pot for 4 hours. Stir twice during cooking does not recall the tip of a very long time. If the mixture is really thick, a little hot water at the end of cooking. Serve on Hoagie buns.

Old-Fashion Recipes For Ham Loaf and Norwegian Meat Loaf Both Suitable For Diabetics

This is a pair of economic recipes that allow you your family a "Meatloaf", without breaking the bank is different, so to speak feed. If you prefer pork over beef, try this ham sandwich. For a different perspective on the traditional meat loaf, try the Norwegian Meat Loaf.

NORWEGIAN MEAT LOAF

1 / 2 kg minced
5 cups seasoned mashed potatoes
1 / 2 cup chopped onion
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons flour
3 / 4 tsp dill
1 / 2 tspSalt
1 / 4 teaspoon pepper
Pinch of nutmeg
1 / 2 cup shredded pasteurized processed cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8-inch loaf pan with foil and extends about 1 / 2 inch above sides. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, 2 cups of potatoes, onions, eggs, flour, dill, salt, pepper and nutmeg. Press mixture into loaf pan. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 400 degrees. Carefully remove from loafLift foil from pan. Remove foil and transfer with spatula to an oven proof serving dish. In a medium bowl, combine potatoes with remaining cheese. Spread on top and sides of bread. Return to the oven and place 20 minutes or until potatoes are lightly browned. Makes 4 servings.

HAM LOAF

1 1 / 2 pounds ground ham
1 / 2 cup bread crumbs
1 / 2 cup quick oats
2 eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
1 / 2 cup brown sugar

Combine ham, bread crumbs,Oats, eggs, onions, parsley in a large bowl. Mix well and shape into a loaf shape. Sprinkle the sugar over top of loaf. Place bread in a very lightly greased and floured baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes.

Easy Spaghetti Recipes

Spaghetti has always been a favorite family meal. My teenage daughter will eat leftover spaghetti for breakfast, lunch, and as a mid-afternoon snack. Not everyone loves spaghetti so much that they go to that extreme, however, and the same food can be boring after a while. Here are some ways to jazz these old favorites:

Italian Sausage Spaghetti



2 lbs. Italian Sausage

48 ounces spaghetti sauce

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

Green pepper, cut into thin slices

1 lg. Onion, cut into thin slices

1 tbsp. Parmesan

1 tsp. Parsley flakes

1 c. Water

Place sausage in the pan and cover in water. Drain let simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in Crock Pot. Add drained sausage and cover, cook on low 4 hours. Increase to high and cook 1 hours more. Cut sausage cut into bite-sized slices and serves more than cooked spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Irish Italian Spaghetti



1 onion, chopped

2EL. Vegetable

1 pound ground meat

1 tsp. Salt

1 / 4 tsp. Pepper

Dash red pepper

1 / 2 tsp. Chili powder

1 / 2 tsp. Tabasco sauce

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can of condensed tomato soup

1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti

1 / 2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Brown onions in oil. Add meat and spices. Brown lightly cover. Simmer 10 minutes. Add soup to simmer, cover and leave 45 minutes. Cook spaghetti. Cover with sauce and ParmesanCheese.

Roasted Spaghetti



1 c. chopped onion

1 c. chopped green pepper

1 tbsp. Butter or margarine

1 (28 ounce) can sliced tomatoes with liquid,

1 (4 ounce) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained

1 (2 1 / 4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained sliced

2 tsp. Dried oregano

1 pound hamburger, browned

12 oz. Spaghetti, cooked and drained

2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 / 4 c. Water

1 / 4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

In a large pan and fry onions and green pepper in butter until they are soft. Tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano. Add ground beef. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Half of the spaghetti in a greased 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Top with half the vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with 1 c. Cheddar cheese. Repeat the layers. Mix soup and water until frothy, pour over the pot. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Six to 8Servings.

Chicken Spaghetti Casserole



1 / 2 c. Margarine

1 c. chopped red bell pepper

1 (4 ounces) are sliced mushrooms, chopped

1 / 4 c. Chopped bell pepper rings

2 c. Chicken broth

1 / 4 c. Flour

2 c. cooked chicken, chopped

1 (4 ounce) can diced green pepper

1 tsp. Salt

1 ounces chopped almond leaves

1 / 2 kg spaghetti, broken

4 slices American cheese

Melt margarine and cook peppers and mushrooms until soft, add flour andmix well. Add chicken broth. Cook and stir until thickened. Add chicken, pimento, and add spices, heat and almonds.

Cook spaghetti in boiling water for about 9 minutes. Drain and mix with old ingredients. Place in casserole and give with slices of American cheese. Heat to 325 degrees until the cheese is melted (about 30 to 45 minutes). . Dienes

Stir the mixture. Sprinkle with the Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350 degrees, to champagne and cheese is melted, about 20-25 minutes.

Jean Broccoli Salad

1 bunch fresh broccoli, washed, drained and chopped
1 cup black olives, sliced
1 / 2 cup green onions, chopped
1 / 2 cup greenBell pepper, chopped
3 / 4 cup mayonnaise
4 hard boiled eggs, chopped

In a large bowl, mix broccoli, olives, spring onions and peppers. Add the mayonnaise and mix blend. Add the chopped eggs and fold into the salad mixture. Currently stored in the refrigerator until serving.
